Meet Dr. Stephanie Canada

Dr. Stephanie Canada has been a dedicated chiropractor in Denver for more than 25 years. She graduated summa cum laude from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Missouri and began Hands on Health Wellness Center in 1990. She has since completed a diplomate in Chiropractic Orthopedics and is a nutrition practitioner, as well.

Dr. Canada provides individualized chiropractic care, specific to your issues and needs. She asks questions about your health and issues at the beginning of every appointment, so she can determine the best course of action. You’ll never feel as though you are getting a “cookie cutter” adjustment or treatment. Her goal is to restore function to muscles and ligaments, so you can enjoy wellness.

“I want to say thanks so much for caring as you do, and for helping me to get my health back on track. I’m feeling so much better and recognize that I will need regular treatments in order to remain healthy. I’ll be signing on for the once-a-month visit.”

“I’ve been going to a chiropractor since I was 12 years old for scoliosis. Since I’ve started seeing Dr. Canada only a few months ago, I’m amazed at how pain free my life has become! No longer do I wake up several times a night with back pain, or take ibuprofen to relieve the minor daily pains, the pain is gone and I cannot believe it. After 27 years of minor but constant pain you learn to adapt, but suddenly the absence of pain gives me a whole new bounce in my step.”

“I’ve been going to a chiropractor for 18 years (in four different states). Now I realize what real chiropractic care is. Each adjustment is different, addressing my immediate issues, instead of the ‘cookie cutter’ approach so many chiropractors use. I’ve had back pain issues for years, and can’t believe I only have to come once a month now. Thank you!”

“Dr. Canada is more than just my chiropractor. She helps me relieve my stress, she celebrates my victories, she comforts my sadness and basically has helped me get through the muckety muck of this thing called being an adult.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Canada since 2002 and could not be happier with her services and her staff. I have chronic lower back problems, as well as a neck/shoulder thing that tightens up as my stress increases. She has helped me immensely with both of these issues, and I see her on a monthly basis, more if needed. I have had some flare-ups and spasms due to heavy lifting, twisting, falling on ice and the like and she has always accommodated my emergent needs.

She is well respected in the chiropractic community and takes her job as a professional very seriously. I *heart* her.”

“Here’s how it happened: Switzerland ice, snowboarding, stopped paying attention to watch a girl with a broken arm, caught the ice down I feel backwards w/ no helm and dislocated my neck. Ouch.

Dr. Canada was close to my place so I figured why not? Why so is the better question! She is wonderful, fixed my neck after a few visits and made my back feel awesome. She’s not the kind that tries to get you to come in over and over again, she treats you until you feel good and then you can come in when you don’t anymore. Which is nice, that was actually my huge fear about going to a chiropractor.

Then the past few weeks my back went from awesome to I can hardly sit, called Dr. Canada and after 1 visit already feeling great again. Magic hands! :)”
